Tired of waking up and seeing posts from your friends of their accomplishments and generally shows that they are more terribly happy with their lives than what you are experiencing right now? Are you feeling pissed already because of not granting your resolutions again for this year? Don't be. The coming of a new year is again a new chance to regain yourself and an opportunity to start over. Every new year is a beginning for all people who don't stop dreaming and believing - and to people who are willing to change. If you're one of it, then that's the reason why your'e here.


Maybe it became hard for you to make your resolutions possible because of hindrances but you should have strive harder. It will be still yourself who will help you to follow up and push through. There will be rough times but your self-motivation will allow you to get up and wake up to a brighter day. Positivity will greatly help you to accomplish what you wanted to resolve for the next year.

Here are some tips on how to make and not to break your new year resolutions:

1. WRITE YOUR NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS


Come on! Don't be lazy. 😂 If you want to make your resolutions come true, you should be disciplined enough by starting to write them on your personal notepad. It is important to jot them down so that you'll be knowledgeable enough (because sometimes you pretend not to know) what you wanted to change. Finding it hard to write an effective resolution? Ask these following questions when writing:

1. Do I really want this? Or is this just to “sound good,” or because I think it’s easy to achieve?


2. Does this contradict any other resolution? If so, adjust one.

3. Would this conflict with others — like others around me? If so, work out the differences.

4. Is it positive, instead of negative? Your resolutions are about what you want, not what you want to get rid of.

5. Is it detailed? If you want something include all the detail you can.

6. Can this be achieved by a human being? Like is it realistic?

7. Is it high enough? If you really want something, you’ll find a way to achieve it. 

8. Am I including the personal changes I need to make? Chances are, you’ll need self-confidence and determination, among other personal qualities, if you’re going to achieve your goals.

9. Have I written each resolution as if it’s already accomplished? Don’t say “I want,” “I wish,” or “I need.” Instead say “I have,” “I am,” or “I own.”

2. READ AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR RESOLUTIONS


It's like writing a caption for your photo post on your Facebook account. You should proofread your resolutions and make sure that you fully understand why you wanted them to happen. Don't just write resolutions because it is required or you are just jealous of the people around you. You should know fully by heart that you wanted change in your life. And you must be aware what this change will benefit you.

3. CLAIM THAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE YOUR RESOLUTIONS WHILE READING THEM


It is not bad to be ambitious when it is a good one and will give a positive output for yourself. While reading your resolutions, visualize what you will achieve and make this as your motivation. As some people say, "CLAIM IT"! As long as you are not doing bad things to others to make your resolutions possible, it will be given to you.

4. AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, MAKE YOUR RESOLUTIONS DETAILED, POSITIVE AND CREATED BY HEART


It will be easier for you to make changes in your life if your resolutions are in detail. Just like cooking a recipe of your favorite food - results were very good because you strictly followed the recipe and didn't missed a single step and ingredient. Resolutions should be taken seriously. On the other hand, positive resolutions are also encourage to promote a positive life. Write your resolutions not only by mind but also putting your heart on it. Just as you love your puppy, putting a heart on your resolutions will make them real.

5. LASTLY, YOUR RESOLUTIONS SHOULD ONLY FOCUSED ON "YOU"



Nah! A piece of cake. 😂 You don't make resolutions because you wanted to change other people. You make resolutions because you wanted to level up your maturity and you aim for a change for a new beginning.


No matter how hard it is, doing resolutions will help you to achieve your goals and dreams. This will be a stepping stone for you not to be jealous of the achievements of people around you. In this world, there is nothing constant except change. Make your resolutions do come true and the rest will follow. Have an awesome new year ahead!




[ENGLISH] How to start your year with positivity?




Maybe it's hard to say to start your year with positivity in your heart if you are dealing with many problems that seemed  to be unsolved. It came to a point that your hopes fallen because of depression and disappointment. But then you came to realize that it's not only you who's facing challenges on a daily basis. There are even people that are not able to eat their complete meals because of poverty. Hence, when you had the chance to greet them, all the smiles in their faces and positivity in their hearts made you wonder why there are people like them.

Challenges in our lives are not that easy to surpass. But you were able to conquer them and at least survived. It was like swimming in an ocean that you can't reach. However, someone also helped you and threw a floater for you to swim easily. That's how life teaches us. Yes, we can solve our own problems but don't forget that there are people that are also willing to genuinely help us. Believe it or not, there are people whom we called as "heaven sent".

But first let us understand what does positivity means.

Positivity (noun)
- the practice of being or tendency to be positive or optimistic in attitude.

Based on the definition, the words positive and optimistic are clearly present. Positivity gives us a light and smooth feeling of how to handle things that greatly affect our lives. Maybe you are thinking now that it is impossible, well, there are people that can testify that positivity really changes lives.

Also, based on research, there are health benefits of positive thinking. And that include the following:

  • Increased life span
  • Lower rates of depression
  • Lower levels of distress
  • Greater resistance to the common cold
  • Better psychological and physical well-being
  • Better cardiovascular health and reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
  • Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress

How can we start to practice positivity in our lives to have a great year ahead? Let me enumerate some practices that I observe with the people who made positivity part of their lives.
Here are some ways to think and behave in a more positive and optimistic way:

1.Identify areas to change.

If you wanted to have a positive aura, you should start identifying areas wherein you can change your outlook. For example, your daily commuting going to work. It is a very tiring thing to commute and traffic is drastic but you can do things while you are on a ride. You can watch videos that will make you laugh or gain knowledge on it.


2. Check yourself.


Make a habit on evaluating what you feel and what you think. In that you way you can eliminate negativity by filtering your thoughts. You can share to those people you trust what you are feeling. They can, on the other hand, give their opinions in regards on what you have shared to them.

3. Be open to humor.


The only thing that is free today is your smile. Smile even the world frowns at you. Don't forget to laugh at times when you needed to. As they say, laughter is still the best medicine. Don't be harsh on yourself. Bring out the joy that you wanted to feel.

4. Follow a healthy lifestyle.


Include on your daily routine to exercise for about 30 minutes on most days of the week. You can also break it up into 10-minute chunks of time during the day. This method will let you to set your mood throughout the day. Learn to manage your stress by researching effective techniques.


5. Surround yourself with positive people.


Actually, this is my favorite practice. Nothing beats surrounding yourself with people who can help you with your circumstances in life by listening to their advice and feedback. Negative people might give you more disappointment and lead you to depression.

6. Practice positive self-talk.


Start by following a simple rule: Don't say anything to yourself that you wouldn't say to anyone else or Don't do anything to others that you do not wanted them do to you. Be gentle to yourself and encourage confidence. Think of the things that you are thankful for.



Life is not that easy as we wanted it to be easy. But we can still manage our expectations and we are responsible with our actions and decisions. One way to take things lightly is to invite positivity on our outlook. Don't judge others the way they think nor they face their problems, instead, help them to also practice positive thinking. Let's spread positivity to humanity!

It is just few days to go before 2019 ends. Yet, your bucket list has many things unchecked. And it's like your world is crashing now because you have not fulfilled all your goals for this year. It's like you've done things in wrong way that's why you didn't able to make it. You have been thinking that 2019 is not again your year.

Well, don't lose hope. We are on the same boat. Our goals for 2019 are like stars that were very hard to reach because of different circumstances and challenges we faced. But I know, like me, you strive harder for you to complete the things you wrote on your planner. And still, as long as we breathe, it's not yet over.

So how can you fulfill your dreams and goals this coming 2020? I bet you already planned again what should be done next year. We all wanted that things must be in place, in order and should happen as we aim to reach our targets. Let me join you to list properly the things on your Bucket List 2020.


1. KNOW YOUR PRIORITIES





What are the most important things you are heading towards your life and for this year? Is it about your career? Your passion and hobbies? You personal growth? Your love life and family?
That should be answered only by you. You should focus on the things that you only wanted so that you will be able to make ways how to fulfill it. It is just YOU who will MAKE THOSE DREAMS COME TRUE.


2. WRITE YOUR PRIORITIES FOR 2020





You think it would not help you, well, you got it wrong. 😅 I, myself, also thought that but if you wanted to place things in order, write them on a simple planner of hardbound notebook - yes, it must be hardbound because you will use it all throughout the year. In this way, you will be on track of your accomplishments - and you will be able to think of ways how to make them happen.


3. MAKE AN UPDATE DAILY, WEEKLY OR MONTHLY





It is necessary for you to make an update if how many percentage does that goal reached. You can, however, re-polished your bucket list based on your accomplishments and if you can still fulfill it. In fact, it is an exciting one to update your planner because it means that you are on track and you have established discipline on yourself. Discipline is a must on this matter. For example, you wanted to lose/gain weight but you don't tract your weight at all. So how can you make that thing happen?


4. DON'T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF





If you think you can't be able to make it, just revise your bucket list. Don't be too harsh on yourself. It's not yet over until it's over. Sometimes there are things that we cannot control. But be responsible with your actions and decisions. It will be still our decisions in life that will make our bucket list to be completed. Our ways of doing things will be also one of the factors.


5. SUCCESS IS A CONTINUOUS PROCESS






As long you are a goal-oriented person, success is a long process. We should not stop learning and searching until we knew our purpose. We may be successful because of fulfilling our bucket list but don't boast as we still need to exemplify humility and be a role model to those who also wanted to reach their dreams.





The year 2020 might be again your year or not. But hope is always there. Things will be possible if you will push them harder. Strive harder - what matters most is that you make ways how to fulfill and reach your goals. Don't pity yourself if you will not be able to make it. Sometimes there are things in our life that just happen because it's for our own good. Sure things is that there are reasons. As long as you are on the right tract, there will be good results. And always remember, WHAT YOU PLANTED IS WHAT YOU WILL HARVEST.
